Organize GitHub Repositories Efficiently
GitHub Repo Folders is a free Chrome add-on that streamlines the organization of GitHub repositories. This tool allows users to create custom folders directly on the GitHub Repositories page, enhancing navigation and accessibility. Users can easily create, rename, and delete folders, assigning any repository to a specific folder using a straightforward dropdown menu. This feature helps categorize projects into sections such as 'Work', 'Learning', or 'Side Projects', allowing for a more structured approach to managing multiple repositories.
In addition to folder management, the add-on provides an 'Unfiled' section for repositories not assigned to any folder. Users can collapse or expand folders to focus on their projects as needed. The optional 'Load all pages' mode combines paginated repository pages into a single view, further simplifying the organization process. Each GitHub account maintains separate folder configurations, ensuring personalized organization across different logins.
